Proof of D-12 Shot and Killed

Proof, Eminem’s hypeman and fellow D-12 bandmate was shot and killed early this morning near a Detroit nightclub.

Local police did not confirm that Proof, born Deshaun Holton was murdered, however, Dennis Dennehy, a publicist for Interscope Records confirmed the identity, according to a USA Today report.

According to police spokesperson James Tate, an argument outside of the CCC nightclub ended in gunfire.

Proof and another man were shot in the head. The other man, who’s name has not been released is in critical condition at a Detroit hospital, reports Detroit news station, Local 4.

Wende Berry, a spokeswoman for St. John Health System where the emcee was taken, said Holton was dead on arrival at St. John Conner Creek, an outpatient treatment facility.

While reports suggested that Bizarre was also shot, those reports have been refuted by Bizarre being found alive and well in Georgia.

At this hour, police are still searching for a shooter and this is an ongoing investigation.

Rest In Peace to one of the dopest emcee in the game & in D12.
